In the month of November 2018, it was an extra ordinary month full of eternal blessings. ASIGE is so grateful to our partners ASAP/DFG.
With this tremendous support, over 200 women and men were taken through a comprehensive sexual reproductive health education. Not only that over 700 school children in Bongo received oral care, dementia education , washable sanitary pad and some were taught to make their own stories. We can not also forget of the walkers that were Donated by ASAP to the Feo Celebral palsy center.

The Pillars of Women Empowerment Presented at Rimini,Italy

Speaking at the 2018 Meeting for the Friendship Amongst Peoples (Rimini Meeting) in Italy, ASIGE GHANA believes that it is time that we invest in women and girls or there is no sustainable future.
This premises is based on the rapid population growth of the African continent with over 600 million women and girls with majority being under the ages of 25.
Also the rising unemployment levels is a caused for concern, it is time that leaders must wake up to invest in human capital, communities and entrepreneurship especially on women and girls or we are heading towards our dooms day.

Setting the pace for quality education

Sustainable Development Goal 4 looks at quality Education: that is Ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education and promoting lifelong learning opportunities for all. Achieving inclusive and equitable quality education for all will require increasing efforts, especially in sub-Saharan Africa for vulnerable populations, including persons with disabilities, indigenous people, refugee children and poor children in rural areas.

Washable sanitary pads for girls in Upper East

Great is the future of women and girls in Upper East Region. After our research, we realised that some girls stay from school because of Sanitary pads while others travel to the south( Kumasi and Accra ) to do street hawking. The future of our women should not be messed up because of this simple but necessary natural issue. Its been our vision to liberate these young girls from the pains of the month. We are so grateful to our PARTNERS for the support. Upper East, here we come with Days for Girls washable sanitary pads
